We firmly believe that any form of development must respect a country’s culture. In Madagascar, TAIZA is one of the oldest and most culturally appropriate ways of protecting children deprived of parental care.
TAIZA is a way of placing children deprived of parental care with a family who will give their love and know-how to help a child. This practice is proof of what the fundamental Malagasy values are: FIHAVANANA, FIRAISAN KINA Malagasy. In other words: solidarity and mutual support.
